Electrical Engineer (m/f/x)

PACKFEEDER develops and produces unscrambling machines for a wide range of bottle types. Bottles are separated from a bulk and are erected and aligned either in a traditionally mechanical way (in-line) or by means of a patented robot system (Pickfeeder) to then be transferred to a downstream filler machine. PACKFEEDER - with a team of 30 colleagues - sells its products successfully all over the world. PACKFEEDER was founded in 2002 and is part of the ROTZINGER Group since January 2022.

Your responsibilities

• Drafting of the electrical specifications of the installation based on internal specifications
• Design electrical diagrams for assembly and documentation with Eplan
• Definition of electrical hardware
• Creation of bills and materials in our ERP system
• Creation of project-specific documentation
• Manage cost constraints during design
• Collaborate with mechanical design department for the choice of electromechanical components (sensors, motors, etc.)
• Collaborate with software engineers in the choice of electrical solutions taking into account the possibilities of the standard software
• Support technically and collaborate with purchasing team for the choice of suppliers, the realization of requests for quotation and the choice of components
• Technical support to various stakeholders, such as assembly team, test and commissioning engineers, after sales department and to commercial department for URS definition

• Training in CFGS or electrical, electronic or electrical engineering
• Several years of experience in the machinery industry preferably packaging
• Proficiency in EPLAN
• Knowledge in electrical panel manufacturing and installation
• Knowledge in programming PLC's (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff) would be an asset.
• Availability to travel
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and to learn quickly
• Autonomous and pro-active way of working
• Fluent in English
